Iosef Tarasov, who Alfie Allen plays, is a Russian criminal, the son of Viggo Tarasov, the Russian mob's leader. Iosef decides to steal John Wick's car and unknowingly kill his dog, as he didn't know he was once a contract killer. Wick tracks down Iosef and puts a bullet right into his head.
Colin Sullivan In The Departed
The Departed is another one of Martin Scorsese's films that is, of course, about the mob and features several "I'm dead and I know it" moments. The film is based on the Boston Winter Hill Gang and follows the story of Colin Sullivan, who Matt Damon plays.

Collins is a corrupt FBI agent that works with the mob and spies for them. Collins tries to pin all his crimes on the mob, but the FBI finds out what he is doing and discreetly puts a hit on him. Dignam is waiting for Collins once he gets home, and this is when Collins realizes he is dead and says "okay" before Digman shoots him in the head.
Russell Casse In Independence Day
Again Independence Day has made it on the list of the greatest "I'm dead and I know it" moments because it features one of the best in film history. Randy Quaid plays Russel Casse, the deranged father at the beginning of the film who eventually flies a fighter jet due to his prior Air Force experience.

Russel is featured in one of the most memorable death scenes in the film, as he is the one to destroy the alien mothership. Russel flies his fighter jet right into the heart of the alien ship and screams, "in the words of my generation, up yours!"
Lord Beckett In Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End
Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End is not the best film out of the franchise, but it ended up being the highest-grossing film within the franchise. The film was the third installment in the series and followed the story of Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann trying to rescue Captian Jack Sparrow.

One of the main antagonists is Lord Beckett, who is the commander of the East India Trading Company. Beckett was eventually killed when the Black Pearl and the Flying Dutchman fired upon his ship. Beckett had a look on his face that he had lost and was prepared to die.
Norman Stansfield In Léon: The Professional
Léon: The Professional is the first film that Natalie Portman was featured in and received praise for being an interesting French-directed film. The film features Jean Reno as Léon and Gary Oldman as Norman Stansfield. Léon is a professional killer that takes care of young Portman's character. The two end up getting into trouble with Stansfield, who is a corrupt DEA agent that is a drug lord in secret.

Stansfield ends up murdering Mathilda's whole family and spares her, which leads to her hiring Léon to kill him. Léon gets the last laugh when Stansfield believes he has finally killed him, as Léon releases a pin to a grenade, killing them both.
Max Zorin In A View To A Kill
A View To A Kill is the fourteenth film in the James Bond franchise and was the last time Roger Moore starred as James Bond. The film's main antagonist was portrayed by Christopher Walken, who was named Max Zorin. Like every Bond film, 007 gets invited to his arch nemesis's lair and gets treated like a proper guest. Of course, everyone knows what happens next as Bond eventually discovers what Max is up to.

Max's "I'm dead and I know it" moment comes when Bond eventually knocks him off the Golden Gate Bridge. Max was able to hold on to the framework but eventually loses his grip and falls to his demise.
Old Joe In Looper
Looper is a film that received praise for its low budget and booming box office revenue. The film is about contract killers sent into the past to kill their targets, but something strange happens to Joe, who has worked as a contract killer for most of his life.

Joe takes a job, not knowing that the contract is his younger self. The two agree they shouldn't live as they realize they are stone-cold killers. Young Joe shoots himself in the head, which in turn, makes old Joe vanish. The two knew they would die and had that "I'm dead and I know it" look on their faces.
